Griffin & Howe Fugger Engraved Custom Springfield. G&H Serial No. 1639. Late Pre-War Rifle.
This rifle is some of the earliest engraving done by Fugger. Nice example of Fugger's Oak Leaf
engraving done in relief. The rifle appears to be wearing a later style G&H stock. May have
been restocked by them at some time to accommodate a subsequent owner. Scope is a Lyman
Alaskan mounted in a double lever mount. Scope case is G&H marked with the trademark
ram head. Overall in excellent condition. Great rifle to take back into the field.
