Charles Lancaster 470 NE. Built on the Webley A-W Action System. Rifle is in excellent condition
throughout. Bores are as new with no sign of cordite usage. The rifle was completed in 1925 for
a Lt C. R. H. St. Maur just prior to his posting to Africa. The outside of the case still has remnants
of steamship stickers addressing the case to Nairobi. Would it be interesting if this rifle could talk?
I'm sure Col. St. Maur had a good time with it in 1925 Kenya. This is a nice solid rifle that could yield
some interesting history, if someone wanted to spend some research time on it. Or better still, take
it back and shoot some dangerous game!
