Purdey "The Lightweight" Model 12 Bore. Gun was Delivered to the original owner
in Nov. 1933. Serial No. 24287. Originally built for Female Shooter with a stock
shorter than the present one. Evidently was restocked and resold to someone
who required a longer length of pull. Gun retains considerable original finish.
95% Blue, 70% vivid case color. Highly figured wood is in sound condition with
most original finish. Engraving is crisp. Min. wall thickness .034. Appears not to
have been used a great deal. A very nice condition Purdey from the Golden Era.
